Hiking the Fall
Kanarraville Falls
Kanarraville Falls is on of the iconic hikes in Southern Utah, A 4.4 mile round trip hike over an access road, up the stream bed and finally in a slot canyon, This is the old ladder at the first of two falls in the canyon. The canyon is limited to 150 people per day, to both limit traffic for damage and solitude.
The day I shot this, i was using my medium format camera on a tripod, and even with the limited number of visitors, I had to wait for traffic both up and down canyon, but to capture one of Utah’s famous sites, its worth waiting on traffic.
As many of my film scan shots, I try to show the edge of the film frame, so you see exactly what I shot.
